2. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide valid, government-issued identification
  • Ensure documents are complete before notarization
  • Be present for in-person notarizations unless state law allows remote notarization

3. Payment

Fees are due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. Travel fees may apply for mobile services.

4. Liability

We are not responsible for the content of the documents being notarized and do not provide legal advice.

Refund & Cancellation Policy – Brooks Notary Co.

At Brooks Notary Co., we value your time and ours. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for our services.

1. Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance by calling (972) 265-9595 or emailing BrooksNotaryCo@gmail.com.
  • Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of the scheduled time may result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service fee.

2. Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule your appointment once at no charge if done at least 24 hours before the original appointment time.
  • Multiple reschedules or reschedules within 24 hours may incur an additional fee.

3. Refunds

  • All completed services are non-refundable once the notarization or signing has been executed.
  • If you prepay for a service and cancel with at least 24 hours notice, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will receive a partial refund minus the cancellation fee.

4. Exceptions

This policy does not override any refund or cancellation rights granted by applicable state or federal law.
